Campbell’s Market Basket opened in 2019 after the owner, Ken Campbell, noticed there was a lack of fresh grocery food in downtown East Lansing, Michigan. After developing a strong customer base of local families and Michigan State University college students, Ken and I began working together to expand his business in late 2024.

We received submissions from mostly college students. Utilizing the community’s creativity not only boosted audience engagement, but also provided a low-cost method of advertising.

I also implemented a workflow that prompts the market’s daily soups to be shared on social media.

Since this is a popular meal choice among our main customer base, each day offers a slight variation in soup types. These soup options are posted daily with a reminder of delivery options for those that aren’t able to stop in.
