Hi, I’m Kara.

I’m a UX designer with a passion for human connection and creating meaningful experiences. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in User Experience Design at Kent State University, set to graduate in Spring 2025.

My journey into UX design stems from a desire to blend my psychology background with my creative side, aiming to leave people happier and more fulfilled.

As an active member of the hockey community, I’ve gained insight into the barriers to accessing the sport faced by underrepresented groups, as well as opportunities to improve the hockey fan experience. This perspective inspires all of my projects—not only to make them more efficient but also to connect with people's humanity in every aspect of my design.
